Greetings from the East
Hello brethren, I hope this finds you safe and well.
I wish to extend a big thank you and congratulations to Rt. Wor. Stewart Robinson on his official visit as DDGM. Thanks also to the officers and brethren who came to support him.
We have a big month planned for March. Our stated meeting will be on Monday, March 10, at 7:30 PM. This will be the first of our themed meetings this year. It’s time for some baseball, so wear your favorite team’s jersey/shirt at the meeting. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM and we will be dining on stadium food, hot dogs, American fries, nachos w/ cheese, and apple pie for dessert.
The District Leadership Conference will be at the Scottish Rite and Kazim Shrine Temple in Roanoke on March 14. On March 22 we will hold our first Lodge Fundraiser with a Pancake Breakfast, from 7 am to 11 am. We will begin preparation at 5 am. I know that’s early…but we really hope you can come to assist.
The proceeds will be designated toward replacing the carpet. To that end, I ask the Past Masters to please accept my challenge of contributing $100 each, this project. No one will hold you accountable for your pledge; it is between you and TGAOTU. A busy month, Brethren – I look forward to greeting you in lodge and your participation in the many activities that are planned.
Bill Pleasants, Master
