2nd Annual visit to Big Island Lodge No 316 of the Free and Accepted Masons, P.H.A. of Virginia.

On Monday April 17th, 2023, Members of Liberty Lodge No 95 and Bedford Lodge No 244 of the 24th Masonic District of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Virginia made their 2nd Annual visit to Big Island Lodge No 316 of the Free and Accepted Masons, P.H.A. of Virginia. The yearly fraternal meeting was spearheaded in 2022 thanks to the coordination of the Right Worshipful Billy Allmond, Worshipful Stu Robinson, and the Worshipful Master of Big Island Lodge, William Davis.

The annual visit is a chance for Masons from different Lodges and jurisdictions to come together, share knowledge and experience, and strengthen their ties to one another. The members of Liberty Lodge No 95, Bedford Lodge No 244, and Big Island Lodge No 316 are dedicated to the values of brotherhood, charity, and morality that are at the core of the Masonic Fraternity.

After the meeting, the Brethren of Big Island Lodge provided a wonderful dinner, and members of all three Lodges stayed late into the night deep in conversation. This opportunity for fellowship and brotherhood is an essential aspect of the Masonic experience, and events like this annual visit are an important way for Masons to connect with one another and build meaningful relationships.

The Masonic Fraternity has a rich history, dating back centuries, and it is built on a foundation of tradition, values, and brotherhood. The members of Liberty Lodge No 95, Bedford Lodge No 244, and Big Island Lodge No 316 are proud to be part of this tradition and to carry on the legacy of Masonic values.
